WHERE TO STAY:
If you are not staying with any relatives or friends in Houston, we highly recommend staying at the suggested location*: the Sugar Land Mariott Town Square The hotel is just minutes away walking distance from several amenities including First Colony Mall, with hundreds of stores and restaurants and is right across the street from the newly built Sugar Land City Hall.
Sugar Land is part of Greater Houston and was recently ranked as one of America's Best Places to Live on CNN/Money and Money Magazine. It is a booming city growing rapidly and has a lot to offer to many tourists and residents that live there. It is sophisticated, yet trendy and has a fresh new look with all the new constructions going on.
Another reason why we highly recommend booking your stay at the Sugar Land Mariott Town Square is because many of the reunion events will be happening in or around this area (i.e. the Gala will be held in the Mariott Grand Ballroom and the MI Inc. Business Meeting will be held in the Mariott conference room). Plus, the hotel is beautiful and was built just a year or two ago.
Thanks to an agreement with the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square, we are now able to offer a limited number of rooms with a $30 per night discount! To make your reservations on-line at the discounted rate, please click on the following link:

BOOKING FLIGHTS:
When booking your flight, there are two main commercial airports in Houston. George Bush Intercontinental Airport (IAH) and William P. Hobby Airport (HOU). As a suggestion, you might want to try to book a flight going to and from Hobby Airport, since it is closer of the two. Both are a fair distance, but Hobby is closer to the area we will be having most of the reunion in. However, IAH offers more airlines, so it also depends on which airline you are booking a flight with.
NEW! Through a partnership with MESA member Steve Sosa, we are proud to have AVS Travel as our sponsor! If you are still looking for flights to and/or accommodations in the Houston area, please visit AVS Travel and find out what they have to offer!
